William J. Kepko
William J. Kepko has been practicing in Mount Vernon since 1991, handling commercial and construction litigation, domestic and family law matters, as well as general probate matters such as wills and trusts. Mr. Kepko earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Akron University School of Law in 1986. He published "Products Liability, Can it Kick the Smoking Habit?" in the Akron University Law Review in 1986.

Mr. Kepko served as an Assistant Attorney General from 1986 through 1989. He opened his first private practice in Columbus, Ohio, in 1990, operating a second office in Mount Vernon for many years.

Mr. Kepko earned his Certified Mediator certificate from the American Center for Conflict Resolultion in 2000.

Robert C. Paxton, II, practices out of downtown Columbus, primarily handling personal injury and wrongful death cases. He serves as co-counsel to Kepko & Phillips, assisting with complex personal injury or wrongful death cases. Sherry M. Phillips earned her Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University College of Law, with honors, in 1986. Ms. Phillips served as a law clerk to Federal Judge Michael in the Northern District of Virginia, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1987. She was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 1991. Ms. Phillips also served as an Assistant Attorney General before joining the firm.

Having served as principal attorney in several cases involving million dollar verdicts and settlements, Ms. Phillips has extensive civil trial experience. She has served as a mediator, and has reviewed merger and acquisition contracts for large healthcare organizations. In addition, Ms. Phillips has experience in general business law, family law and probate matters. She serves as outside counsel to the Ohio Attorney General.
